Bucks County Ride for Heroes

Our History

The inaugural Ride for Heroes was in 2007 with a participation of approximately 131 riders and a handful of passengers. As a result of the generosity of the participants of the run, the Bensalem Motor Patrol was thrilled to turn over a check

for approximately $3,382.00 to the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund (learn more about the fund).

Our ridership increased over 2 times in 2008 for the 2nd annual “Ride for Heroes” and the one day event raised a little over $7000.00 for the BCHSF!

Word started getting out by 2009 and our participation reached over 340 participants. Through the generosity of the motorcycle community, the 3rd annual “Ride for Heroes” raised $9,000.00 for the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund.

In 2010, the Ride for Heroes had it's biggest turn out yet with over 550 participants! Again, through the generosity of our loyal riders and the support of our local business community, the Ride for Heroes was able to present the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund with a check for $20,000!

This one day event has quickly become the largest single day event fund raiser for the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund and has raised almost $40,000.00 during our first 4 years!!!
